Velvetta Pasta, Oatmeal and Yogurt PLEASE mom!

For the longest time I have found myself seriously stressing about my two year olds picky taste buds.  As I experienced with my oldest child, when children get around two, they sometimes become picky eaters for various reasons.  For some, they are getting in touch with their ability to have some sense of control.  For others, it is simply food taste preference.  Whatever the social, mental, emotional, physical and psychological reasons, it DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!

So my confession is, "I have finally surrendered to the fact that this phase will not last forever and as long as she is eating something, she will be fine!"  I no longer stress when I place her in her high chair and she firmly says like only a two year old can say, "Velveeta Pasta Mommy!"

I have learned to be a very sneaky mommy and hide vegetables in darn near any food mixture.  Thankfully, she loves yogurt, fruit and collard greens.  But her favorite, Velveeta pasta shells and/or blueberry muffins.  So moms, don't stress!  As long as your childs' pediatrician is not worried, you need not to worry!  As the old grandma's use to say, "This too shall pass!"
