" My Big Fat Fabulous Life " follows dancer Whitney Thore's emotional journey after being diagnosed with poly cystic ovarian syndrome. Mommy Subscious Self-Centeredness

My health issues, our family fiances, our two daughters, our son who is incarcerated, my own personal dreams and ambitions, death, dying, my children's safety in our sick, perverted and violent society, are my kids safe at school, is anyone around my children a child predator, etc. These are all things that bombard my mommy mind on a daily basis. So much so till they have become fears in my life that I have to battle with much, much prayer. The other night after Larry and I put the children to bed and he fell fast asleep, I began to think, worry, think, and then worry. The thought to pray popped into my head (I should have done just that), but to be honest, I did not want to. I wanted to juggle these areas of fear and concern in my mind (as if I had the answer)! I know one should never have regrets, but I truly regret not participating in any organized sports during my childhood, teens or adult life. Maybe if I had, I would not have found myself back in 2006 at my heaviest weight of 318 lbs. Thankfully, I have shed the weight, but my LOVE and respect for female track athlete’s is borderline obsession. SO you can imagine how I have been glued to the television during this amazing Olympic time. Last night I waited in immense anticipation for the women’s 400-meter final in which Allyson Felix was expected, by many to bring home the gold. But something BAZAR happened.
